Attend the Event!
Individuals with disabilities of all ages and their caretaker(s) are invited to attend this FREE event at the Kansas City Zoo! Enjoy music and more and the Tropics Tent, then explore the Zoo on your own!
Mark your calendar: September 10, 2019, from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Donuts, juice and water served at the tent.
An adult changing area will be available in a Zoo Learning Center classroom, accessible via elevator inside the building.

Take Flight KC needs dedicated volunteers to make the event a success!
We need volunteers to help with parking and entrance, directing guests to the activities tent and restrooms, serving snacks, and much more! As a volunteer you can help individuals with disabilities enjoy a day out at an accessible and fun event!

We have a limited number of tickets! To request tickets, please email info@takeflightkc.org or call 816-400-9446 and include how many individuals with disabilities and how many caretakers you would like to have attend. You will receive a response notifying you how many tickets are available. Your tickets will be available for pick up at the registration table the day of the event. Please make note of our photo and video disclosure.
